Intro from Janet

Hi everyone, greetings from the West Coast of Vancouver Island. I am in at last and look forward to being a part of this group. I have enjoyed doing the 12x12 challenges with friends in our Island group and it will be fun to venture out. Thank you Gladys for getting this going. I have been quilting for over 30 years and always like to try new techniques. My new life as a painter has made me more comfortable using mixed media materials, however, my first love will always be fibre. I have some pieces I am trying to get finished for upcoming shows and will post pictures later. Looking forward to meeting you all and our first challenge.
